Confirmaron 13 nuevos casos de coronavirus

Todos son pacientes con domicilio en San Rafael. Hay uno solo que no se conoce el nexo del contagio.

El lunes cerró con 13 nuevos casos de coronavirus en San Rafael. Así lo informó la Dirección General Región Sur del Ministerio de Salud de Mendoza.

El Laboratorio Covid de la Región Sur procesó en las últimas 24 horas 33 determinaciones de todo el sur de Mendoza de las cuales 20 fueron negativas.

Entre los 13 pacientes que dieron positivo a Covid-19, hay 12 que contrajeron el virus por contacto estrecho con un paciente enfermo y hay un caso que está en investigación epidemiológica.

De acuerdo con el reporte oficial, todos los pacientes tienen domicilio en San Rafael.

El departamento cuenta con 24 pacientes aislados con coronavirus mientras que este lunes se produjo el deceso de una persona de 81 años. Era el padre de la enfermera que dio positivo el jueves.

El hombre fue diagnosticado con coronavirus pero además era paciente oncológico. El otro fallecido que se registró en San Rafael fue un hombre de 74 años que vivía en Jaime Prats y también sufría de cáncer. Murió el 15 de abril.

De los tres departamentos del sur mendocino, solamente San Rafael tiene pacientes activos con Covid-19.

En el resto de la región hubo 4 pacientes recuperados, 3 asistidos en el hospital Regional de Malargüe y 1 en el hospital Enfermeros Argentinos de General Alvear.
