Como en Londres, proponen instalar una vuelta al mundo gigante en Puerto Madero

En los próximos días se llamará a licitación. Buscan relanzar la zona como atractivo turístico.

Según trascendió, el proyecto para instalar una vuelta al mundo en el Dique 2 de Puerto Madero y convertir la zona en un nuevo ícono de la Ciudad, ya está avanzando. En los próximos días se abrirá el llamado a licitación de la obra para el que se espera la participación de desarrolladores urbanos privados, dijeron desde la Corporación Antiguo Puerto Madero.

El emprendimiento contempla la instalación de la vuelta al mundo en uno en los espejos de agua del barrio más nuevo de la Ciudad, el que se extiende entre Rosario Vera Peñaloza y Azucena Villaflor, detrás del edificio de la Universidad Católica Argentina. En el mismo dique se ubican el parque Micaela Bástidas, el Faena Hotel + Universe, diseñado por Philip Starck, el Hotel Madero Sofitel, la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza y el Monumento a Juan Manuel Fangio junto a un Mercedes Benz W196, obra realizada por el español Joaquín Ros Sebaté.
